Default Another sad story about Party Poker

Hi!

I am one of the biggest party-affiliates at Russia.

I have been working with partypoker since 2004, and have been bringing fair big amounts of MGR per month. My business is very close connected with off-line and internet poker. I have a very popular off-line poker school at Cosmos Casino in Moscow, which is the only poker-school in Russia, accredited by Russian Poker Federation pokerfederation.com and I am working with several well-known Russian magazines.

Last year I ran an interactive poker-school of limit poker at my site pokermoscow.ru. I hired a well-known coach and the best Russian limit-poker players to conduct lessons. I created a separated tracking bonus-code for the school and widely advertised it. Players started from lowest game limits and after improving their playing skills, they raised to higher game levels. For now there are about 20 pupils at my limit holdem school.

But last week I received information that 8 accounts from my poker-school were blocked. The official reason of investigation team is that all of them used BOTs. But it is highly unlikely, because my coach knows most of the players personally, and the main idea of my school is to teach people how to play poker, how to improve their skills and win money. In fact the only programs they used were PokerTracker, PokerAce and pokercalculator. The problem of the blockage we are discussing here

And here
http://forum.cgm.ru/msg?th=14992&pre...p;&start=0

After I had started investigation of the issue to protect existing and future players at my poker-school from unjustified blockage partypoker blocked my own player account and my affiliate account as well. By phone I was told that for now partypoker is not going to reactivate it.

The portion of MGR from this limit hold?em poker-school was about 3% from my whole monthly MGR. On the stated questions about blockage of my affiliate account I received the cagey and contradictory answers. The best answers were
- Your players are playing the similar starting hands and the similar post-flop (Of course the blocked players got from my coach the positive strategy for limit-hold?em, so they are playing the same way.)
- So, as follows from first statement they are using bots.
- On the question what exact bots did they find, they are saying that they can?t disclose the information.
The common idea is that I got profit from bots. But this is nonsense, because I would not risk 97% of my whole income and let my referred players at poker school use bots. I have never offered rake-back deals.

So I have an impression that in this case the support of partypoker is close to block my affiliate-account, hoping to take whole profit from all referred players from me. My affiliate manager says that he can?t influence on the decision of the investigation team.

I don?t know exactly if the management of partypoker aware of the situation and if it approves the decisions of their departments.

Has anybody stumble in similar situation at partypoker?
Is it common practice for party to wait until affiliate makes 5-zeros amounts MGR per month, and after that just to say him ?Good buy!??
Are there any people who could help us or offer cooperation?

Of course I understand that partypoker is free to make any decision about the issue. But in case of unfair result I think the story should have an extremely negative consequences on the market of internet gambling and especially for partypoker at Russia.

The same story the same end happens with me at end of 2006. I will add all my e-mail exchange with partypoker on that topic because I feel there is nothing to do with my affiliate and let you, people, judge for yourselves about party and stuff.

I think that partypoker has to develop methods of detecting bots. And I would recommend them to have some proves next time, when they decide to confiscate money from a dozen of players.

My name is Dmitry Lesnoy. I am the President of Russian Sport Poker Federation. As you might know a landmark decision to classify Poker tournaments as an official sports competition instead of a Gambling game was made by the Russian Sports Minister for the "Federal agency of physical culture and sport", Slava Fetisov, on March 16, 2007.

I know personally Roman Shaposhnikov and his poker school for a long time. Roman Shaposhnikov is a member of The Board of Russian Poker Federation and a respectable poker player and teacher. His company Pokermoscow and it’s poker school have been successfully working for the welfare of Russian poker for a long time. Hundreds of players studied and are studying at the poker school now. There are absolutely no doubts in his decency and I believe that statements of Party Poker are ungrounded.

It is not the first case of blocking Russian affiliates. Some time ago another Russian affiliates were blocked similarly. It seems like Party Poker blocks successful dynamic developing affiliates. I think it is not a proper way to make business in our country...

This is really interesting..maybe they think you guys are running bots because you are using the same IP?
Imagine a cybercafe filled with kids who play limit holdem the same exact way...from outside it might seem like a bot camp...

Players are unfamiliar with each other. Live in different cities. The some people play poker of less month. But the suspicion has sufficed on blocking affiliates...

I am Kirill Gerasimov .

I know Roman Shaposhnikov and his poker school. From time to time I consult
with him about the matter of teaching poker. I think that Party Poker should reinvestigate the
problem of the blocked affiliate Pokermoscow.ru and reactivate it.

Have you contacted a particular affiliate manager or have you just gone though affiliates@partypartners.com?

Yes, I contacted directly my affiliate manager and investigation team. They still have not sent us evidences of our fraud and have not returned money. The accounts were blocked about April,26.
