Re: D\'amato Never Folds: NY Times Article
I wrote Howard about this and it wouldn't hurt others to do the same. I don't see any need to mention 2+2.

Re: D\'amato Never Folds: NY Times Article
[ QUOTE ]
Good article, however, D'Amato has little to no influence among a Democrat controlled Congress. It would have been nice, not to mention intelligent, to have him on board lobbying against the bill before they passed the damn thing. Damn bill wouldn't have gotten passed if Jack Abramhoff had still been around. Either way, decent article and a step in the right direction. [/ QUOTE ] Considering the real work needs to be done on the Republican side of the aisle, D'Amato isn't a bad choice. It is probably up to AGA/the B&M crowd to work Reid (and probably always has been). Besides, the Senate is really just a club - former Senators are just inactive club members. They get an audience regardless of which side of the building they sat on when they were active. Usually, anyway. |

NVM it's just an interview. From reading the thread before the article it seemed like Stern was taking up the poker battle.

Re: D\'amato Never Folds: NY Times Article
If you go to the tech section and look for the article, there is an audio story with D'Amato linked there in addition to the print article.
