Re: So you know im showing down, but your still betting... Hmmm..

Why not 3 bet preflop to avoid this position. [/ QUOTE ] because then we would be OOP in a big pot with this shitbox. |

Re: So you know im showing down, but your still betting... Hmmm..
Im a bit surprised most dont talk about how drawish the flop or turn is, because this is - besides knowing the player of course - the biggest factor in my decision. If there is a big draw on the flop I call down more often. If its completely dry calling all way isnt ok.
But of course I agree with most, we have to go with the flow and call sometimes, fold sometimes, and preferable call more in the beginning of the session. Unless we run bad and fold more then normal in strange spots (like we raise preflop, bet flop and turn, they donk river, we fold and next hand is exactly the same), now we have to call all the time. |

[/ QUOTE ] agreed. this guy can read hands and allegedly plays well. there is only one draw on this flop, so it is much more likely that you have something. he doesn't seem to care. |

Re: So you know im showing down, but your still betting... Hmmm..
why are you "always showing down"
you could have KQ, QT, T8, Q8, etc...if hes capable of 3barreling then this is an easy call, otherwise you can dump it |

Being out of position with this shitbox is not that bad if it's better than the button's shitbox. The main concern Noles has here is A8 is certainly ahead of villians range and playing it aggressively preflop will help avoid folding the best hand and in some cases , albeit rare, get folds from better hands. I am not dismissing his lines as horrible as you seem to think. |

If I c/c, c/c , c/f high king hands occasionally it would balance my distribution a little better, but I like to 3-bet those preflop most of the time.. Some ideas ive been considering and not sure how to justify it: 3-betting PF c/r flop, fold to a turn raise, call down to a flop 3-bet but fold if straight completing cards come up. Fold Show down some Ax hands, Fold others PS I was shown AQ and felt seriously p0wned |

Think thats a tiny bit on the tight side of a solid agros button range, but still interesting to see how close we are ahead... Thought it was more.
