Only one major buy-in...what do you play?

just curious as to what everyone's favorite tournament is...i'm going to try very hard to play a major event w/in the next year, and i'm trying to gather opinions.

say you can only play one major event in a calendar year, and you must play one, what event would it be and why?

assume that you meet all the qualifications to play (e.g. age requirements), and that travel expenses are paid.

As somebody who has never played a major tourney, I'm completely unqualified to answer. But I'll try...

I think it depends on what you're looking to get out of the tourney. If you're looking for the "experience", then WSOP ME for sure.

If you're looking for the best "vacation", it's probably an EPT event or the PCA.

If you're looking for the most +EV tourney, where you have the best chance of winning / cashing, then I have no clue...

The circuit events usually have smaller fields, EPT is great because you visit a beautiful place, usually. And the ME is just for the atmosphere, and maybe you'll end up winning that lottery.
