Default UIGEA Fallout Continues! Doyles Room: R.I.P.

In case you have not seen it, gambling 911.com has announced that Doyles Room is leaving the US market FOR GOOD. What does this say about the future of post UIGEA online poker when a Great Man like Doyle throws in the towel? By the way I predicted Doyles Room would go under for good in USA in one of my previous "Learn, Chat & Jail with the Pros" posts.

Okay, then I will delete my contribution, but it was independent of anything I read on gambling911.

its probably more a financial risk reward of getting restarted etc. as much as anything.

I think your doomsday scenario of the DOJ rounding up every player associated with a site is a huge stretch.

Its not as much of a stretch to assume the difficulties of operating in the US will make many poker companies pull out.

Bottom Line, Doyle's couldn't get their act together fast enough to move to a new network, before iPoker closed the door on them...
