Default Re: a hand vs PA, 200/400 HU

i see all the reasons for not raising the flop or the turn, but i dont know if calling those streets is correct here vs pa.

you say that pa loves to cr paired boards and follow through on the turn, which is probably because it lets him bet with much more impunity as you wont raise light fearing he has trips and will stick it in. because of this, you should be floating the flop and raising the turn much more often, along with raising the flop with bluffs and marginal hands. i think you need to be making more thin raises in those spots and getting your money in on paired boards lighter and then adjusting correctly when you get a sense of how he adjusts to your counterstrategy on paired boards.

to balance floating, bluffraising and thinvalueraising on paired boards, you also need to raise when you have monsters like this.

i dont think playing a call/call/call game vs pa's style on paired boards is good strategy. youre playing into his hands.
