making no claims about their ability to write, biggies flow was 12341231245234231232 times colder than 2pac's.

On the song Classic: The beat is hot. Produced by DJ premier who is by far the best producer right now if not all time. Kanye sucks as always, but a lot of people overlook that Nas and KRS one absolutely blow in that track too. Nas does some weird ass stupid flow and KRS-one has a bad verse. Rakim is the only one who has a good verse in that track.

On top 5 MC's:
1) Nas
2) Eminem (Ignoring recent [censored], because he's either too drugged out to realize it's terrible or he's making one bad joke)
3) Biggie
4) Rass Kass (i just personally love him so i gotta put him here)
5) Gift of Gab (besides The Craft which blows so hard)

Top 5 groups: (no order, they are all sick)
Jurassic Five
The Pharcyde
Outkast
People Under the Stairs
A Tribe Called Quest

Good underground:
Outerspace
Jedi Mind
Brother Ali
Atmosphere (if you don't like his bitchiness listen to one of his first CD's, 'Overcast!')
Cunninlynguists
Masta Ace
Blue Scholars

[/ QUOTE ]

my bad, there's some gift of gab love. i liked the craft, though.

Some honourable mentions: Eminem (his early [censored] was the nuts), Nas, KRS-One, Smif N Wessun, Immortal Technique and Chino XL
