Default 3/6 Turned Flush 200 BBs deep Help against lead

Villain is F.Savage who I have at 20.4/16.6/2.7. I have been 3 betting him a fair amount - nothing unreasonable. He has been defending his blind 20% of the time and it's normally resulted in a cbet taking it down. I figure a fair amount of his range here is a hand like Kd/Qd,Tx. or a flush. I think sets and AT raise that flop a large % of the time. I think AT raises that flop and he most likely doesn't have AK, possibly he calls AJ/AQ pre because we're so deep and was throwing out a blocking bet, but he's def not blocking bet the river with either of those hands. So, on the river, it's either a set or a flush which is most likely ahead of mine as the only suited connector diamonds that are still out there are 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

AJ check/calls flop because no worse hand will call a raise, then when the diamond hits he has to bet to get value and/or prevent free cards from pocket pairs with a diamond and/or something like KdQc. Your hand doesn't look like a flush, so he absolutely bets AJ on the river for value.

hate to say it but id probably minraise river, and i dont think he has a flush or a set... he usually repops AK/JJ/TT and definately plays 222 faster on that flop

looks like AJ or even TJ

i'd raise the turn and bet/fold the river. if you're behind, you're drawing dead, so you dont mind folding but you lose too much value this way against a guy who definitely doesnt mind calling when he's behind.

I like how the hand was played. No point raising the turn as only a better hand will call so I like the pot control there. But then on the river you have to call since there's no way villain can put you on a flush and as dubbois said there's a good number of hands he could be VBing.

A good maxim I once read here: If you underrepresent your hand, don't make a hero fold later.

Yeti, how does this being 3/6 affect the way this hand was played. I really wanted to raise the river as most people are betting closer to pot size on the river with really strong hands, but I didn't think a hand like AdJx could call a raise, but I'm missing value against sets alone on this board, I think

ddubois, as far as AJ value betting that river, there are a lot of non flush hands that have AJ crushed that I would only call the turn with

because if it was 10/20 getting a ton of money in here would be a good thing, whereas at 3/6 its suicidal.
