Do I check behind here and hope to call a small bet on the river if he has a set, or do I try and get some value from hands like KK, AQ, KQ, two overs+flush draw, etc. He just calls the original raise and the reraise, but from the play at these levels, I never really know for sure. I have no stats on this guy at all, he just sat a few hands ago.

First of all, we have a full ring forum: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/po...=&Board=FR

Anyways: You need to bet 14-16 on this flop. You're 3-way and it's not very dry. I definitely bet this turn too, around 27 and commit yourself.

flop bet is soooooooo bad for so many reasons.

think about this: if you had bet just two dollars more, MP3 would have $40 left rather than $42 and the pot would be $42 rather than $38, and you could pot the turn for more than his stack.

as played we have awkward stack sizes and we are forced to overbet the turn to take his stack.... its almost better to just $20 the turn and $25 the river

Stacks aren't that awkward. betting 42 into 38 and betting 38 into 42 is splitting hairs IMO. Anyways, shove.

Bet the pot preflop. Bet the pot on the flop. Shove the turn.
