Default Moving to Vegas..

I don't know if this is where this belongs so mods please move it if it doesnt belong here.

I am going to Vegas next week to look for an apt next week, i plan on moving there in early Oct. For the last year and 3 months i have been playing poker for a living and haven't had to do real work at all. Now, when filling out applications is this going to be a problem... am i gonna have trouble getting approved for an apt or am i prob better off lying and saying i already have a job lined up somewhere?

if you have decent credit you shouldn't have a problem

i moved out here and bought a brand new car with no job and while I wasn't planning on getting one I told the dealership I was "looking", just excellent credit got me the car

It's all about the credit scores in Las Vegas as Surf said. I will also agree that if you have good credit, you can get any apartment/house to rent that you wish. You could have all the money in your bank account to pay rent for a year but if your credit sucks, you won't get a good place to live.
