Default $22, easy PF question

Wasn't totally sure about raising this. I had been stealing blinds a lot. SB is pretty tight, BB has a wider calling range, not a very good player. (He had AJ here...). How wide does BB's range have to be for this to be a bad raise?

well, of course u have to call now but when the effective stacks are less than 6x bb your only option is to shove or fold. shoving here is fine id say though.

I hate shoving here. You're getting called so wide by SB that I'd be surprised if it was anything like +EV.

With 4:1 Pot odds and the chance to knock out two players, it is an automatic call with virtually any two cards in my mind. I would figure that the BB has high cards at least and you've got some middle cards covered. Unless you're really unlucky and they tie, the worst case is either the SB is out or the BB is crippled.

I'd question the raise in the first place if you had been stealing "a lot". You have to figure you're going to get called by at least one of the two short stacks if they have any decent hand if they aren't clueless. Certainly AJ would qualify.

I'm with sippin_criss - I'm shoving this PF. BB has to call relatively wide and SB has to call reeeaaally wide (like 70%) for this to be a -EV. I mean no way SB is calling with something like J4o or T3s...

I need more than 86s to make a steal here.

This is an ATC shove, also it's not close (even if they are calling 50%+).
