Default OOT Food network: Need deep-fried Mac & Cheese cornbread recipe

Hey, I'm looking to make some mac & cheese deep fried in cornbread (basically a hush puppy filled with mac & cheese), but I can't find anything!

I'm sure one of you slobs out there has had it homemade before, so I need your help!

I really want to make some of these.

I've found recipes for hushpuppies, and I've found recipes for deep-fried mac & cheese, but I don't think I can just combine them together.

Deep fried mac & cheese is just taking a pan of mac & cheese, chilling it, cutting it into squares and breading it with flower and stuff... i need some cornbread in there...

PLEASE HALP!

My googling leads me to believe this doesn't exist... I swear I've heard of it being served though.

Have I combined hush puppies and deep fried mac & cheese in my mind, thinking about how delicious it should be?

Dipping the mac and cheese in some cornmeal fritter batter would be pretty easy, they'd probably have to be small to get the insides hot enough before browning the fritter batter too much.

I got a food boner just thinking about this. I'd freeze the mac/chee before I batter it and then fry it.

Alton Brown did a deep fried mac and cheese, but I don't think with corn meal.

found it: he calls it "toast".
