Pergesu, Read my post above yours item #1 please [/ QUOTE ] Okay, so the Lakers might try to trade Kwame for Camby straight up. But Kobe wants to leave LA, doesn't he? Getting Camby in the post would certainly be good for Kobe but I thought that he wants out, not help. Also, I don't think people should be worried about K-Mart. He'll just get injured. He's been so worthless. It bugs me to even see him hanging out with the team at games. |

Re: kobe wants out
Kobe wanted to leave LA but he backed out of the talk later that day. The talk right now is about Camby to the Lakers for Kwame and other considerations. Denver is currently trying to clear salary right now and of its big, long contracts, not to get another max contract from someone like Kobe. (They currently have 4 player contracts that extend to the 2010 season [Melo, Nene, Camby, KMART] and seems to me they want to keep Melo/Nene and no one in their right minds will take on KMART and his monstrous contract (he is due $60 million until 2010-2011 season). Of course, the thought of having Melo + AI + Kobe = teh nutz but it won't happen (as a Kobe fan I'd love to see this happen). However, I really don't want to see this happen, because having a lineup that composes of Camby-Nene-Melo-AI and one more PG could prove lethal. They have so much potential and could pose a threat to the Spurs (as shown in game 1) with more experience. I think Nuggets should try to pursue a playmaker in the offseason.

Re: kobe wants out
Oops. Wow that was retarded without explanation. I meant someone who could handle the ball better than Blake. I was wondering what kind of retard would say that lol.
I don't really know what Denver is lacking. They have a great bench (with Smith and Najera), having a competent PG (like how Blake was for a while in the middle of the season) might be the only answer to go from contender to one of the big powers (SA, PHX, dare i say Dallas?) |

Re: kobe wants out
Denver needs shooters, and maybe someone who can stop dribble penetration.

Re: kobe wants out
Is Kobe's peronality that different from Jordan's? What do you expect from someone with that level of competitive drive?
