Rolling with the Spurs tonight...tough game but I think the champs get it done... (-2) vs Mavs

I just think the Spurs are slightly better at every position.

I don't like the spread in that one at all. Could go either way. I like the game to go under 189 though. Tha's the line on Bodog right now. Last year in the 3 times they met they scored a total of 188, 187, and 175 points. I believe they play each other tough defensively and keep it lower than 189.

Also got 1U on the Suns under 204 because the Bulls just can't score.

It's so hard to give an in-depth analysis of an NBA game seven,eight games into the season but I think, like I said earlier, that Duncan and company have the slight edge here. The Mavericks looked mediocre to me out of the gates against the Sixers the other night at home, and though that can be attributed to playing the Sixers with the Spurs on tap, it also can be more. The Mavericks, as we all know, got off to a slow start last year before getting hot.

This is where the Mavericks sort of made their break last year, but I believe they hit an easier patch on their schedule to get them out of their rut (I'll have to research).

I'm on this for a two unit play but yeah between watching the two teams I wasn't particularly impressed by the Mavericks.

I still like the Jazz as the runner up in the West.

If the Under moves to 191 on Mavs/Spurs, expect me to take it. Both teams like to generally play a slow type of offense and they are both strong defensively.
