Just got back from Laughlin Nevada
i enjoyed Laughlin contrary to some people here, not a lot of action in the morning but after lunch time, weather is a bit hotter than Las Vegas, restaurants are not too packed, and people are more polite.
u can go to riverside casino for $2-$6 spread limit, this is the closest thing u can have if ur a no limit player, there was 3 tables running when I played at 2p, not a lot of fish here, players are mostly local and quite good. u can go to Aquarius hotel for $3-$6 limit, i highly recommend to play here, 90% fish. u can go to Harrahs for $3-$6 limit with a full kill, can get crazy. |

Re: Just got back from Laughlin Nevada
I typically go to Laughlin once a year for a family reunion. I didn't go this year, though, so I guess my info's about a year and a half old. It seems that nothing really changes there, though. Here's my experience if you're looking for a bigger or NL game.
The Riverside will spread a game with overs to NL on busy (Saturday) nights. The Colorado Belle had a 10/20 on Saturdays that typically ends up being NL. |

Re: Just got back from Laughlin Nevada
I enjoy Laughlin more than Vegas because of the river. Just a lot more relaxing and less stressful. Usually the Colorado Belle will open up a NL game if they get enough interest, although every time I've been this summer they didn't get a NL game going. Although the Spread Limit game got pretty juicy.
What do you think about all the new ownership on the river. I'm extremely dissapointed by the changes that the Edgewater has made, just extremely un-customer service oriented. I spoke with a few of the dealers and pit bosses and they felt the same way I did. It almost seems as if they want to run the Edgewater and Belle into the ground. |
