Default PreFlop Raise after someone Limps

I'm playing 0.10/0.25 NL, 6-9 person games where there is much pre-flop limping. If 1-2 player(s) limp, and I'm in CO or Button with something like AJo, KQo, or TT, I tend to raise to about 4xBB (Stack Sizes are about 30-80BB). My reasoning is to push out the blinds and play with position on the limper(s). Is this a reasonable play, or should it be reserved for the premium hands, only for the button, only 1 limper, etc.? Thanks for the feedback & any links to references on this topic are appreciated.
