Default 3/19 Poker Superstars III

I had higher hopes for III than II, but after watching tonight's episode, those hopes are dashed. Ivey, Ferguson, Greenstein, Brunson, Shulman, and Elezra, and all we get is all-in and more all-ins. Ferguson goes all in with 5-5 very early. There might have been 2 hands where we saw any post flop play.

Agreed... although they were alluding to the later rounds being more exciting.

Its very fun watching Phil Ivey play. First hand he plays, he raises 100 with 66 and 15/30 blinds. Cardplayer guy reraises all in. Ivey calls for 150 more, saying he can't do nuthin

But dont they also say that there escalating blind levels make for the exciting brand of poker you see in PS? So maybe they mean there will be even more all in hands in the later rounds.

I have to disagree with the sentiment here. Even thought I didn't like the first Poker Superstars Invitational that much, I loved the second one, and I'm sure I'll love the third one too. While it's true that you don't get a lot of post-flop play, the setup is inovative and exciting to watch. I actually like watching it even more than the WTP and the WSOP.
