ENgland do have a habit of playing like crap against crap teams (watch some qualifying games!) but then good against good teams. If I remember correctly we were at one stage 1-0 up against Brazil last world cup in the semi-finals (who then beat us and won it), and played into extra time against portugal in Euro 04.
Meh it was a few years ago maybe I just made all that up but the first statememt is true. Teams seem to get a handicap against us.
