Default Villain plays his FD super aggressive..

$15/$30 Party

I'm on the button with AsTc

everyone folds to me and I raise.

Villian in SB 3bet, BB folds, I call

** Dealing Flop ** [ 6h, 7h, 6s ]
Villain bets, I call

** Dealing Turn ** [ Td ]
Villian bets, I raise, villian 3bets

** Dealing River ** [ 3s ]
Villian bets, I call

Villian shows [ Jh, Kh ]a busted flush draw.

Is it common for people to 3bet oop their 2nd best flush draw? How about 2+2 posters, do you do this too?

Whats the point of betting the river once he missed the flush? If I called his 3bet on the turn, I'm sure as hell going to call his river bet.

Obviously, if I didn't hit any piece of that flop, I would have had to fold against his turn/river bet. Is this the way you would play your flush draws?
Opinions and comments are very much welcomed.

Villain played it bad unless he has a read you like to freeshowdown and fold to 3 bets.

The dilemna he's faced with on the river is now he's bloated the pot it's often correct to fire the last bullet and hope a better busted draw will fold.

I don't think villian's play is that bad. When you are in heros spot and raise this turn, what hands are you ahead of when he 3bets OOP after 3betting from the SB preflop? KT is about the only hand I can think of, but I doubt he 3bets that given the paired board. Sure, we need some stats/reads on villian to put him on an accurate range - and to figure what hands he 3bets the big streets with... but it seems hero is rarely ahead when he calls the turn 3bet. For this reason, I don't raise the turn... I just call down, there are not a lot of overcards that can come to beat our hand. By raising the turn we may fold out A-high type hands, whereas if we just call the turn they will often check/call the river.
