Preflop is bad. Fooooold. Postflop is a little hyperaggressive.

Check the turn to keep the pot small since your kicker is only a four. In addition, this will often convince any 7, 3, or pocket pair that they can bet the river for value (call these bets instead of raising them, since you will also get them from TPTK+ hands that were trying for a check-raise on the turn). Other than that, it looks fine.

EDIT: I didn't notice that you were opening the betting preflop. Unless you have a specific reason not to, raise if you are the first to act preflop and have a hand that you have decided to play. As for what AJ said, I wouldn't fold this unless the button is so loose that you are sure you will be out of position postflop. I have no problem calling a single raise in position with this preflop if I have position.

I like the thought process.

Question: where did my opponent go wrong?

you are the donkey, if you are not sure who the donkey is.

First, fold PreFlop. If you are going to play PreFlop, raise to .40 from the CO. Then the villain would have rr to 1.2 and you would know he had JJ+, AQ, and/or AK.

I don't know what to think. This is a gross hand, by both. Villain should have stuck it to you either on the flop or the turn.

I think if this is indicative of how you normally play you're going to have to go on a real long good luck streak.

Your opponents bets are weird. At the same time, he got you to keep putting in money with 4 outs.

I suspect you must know that you are the donkey here.

Your opponent went wrong by not betting enough on the flop, and possibly by not betting the turn. You went wrong by not using position to your advantage and keeping the pot small with a marginal hand by checking the turn.
