Default 3 Handed preflop raising question..How is pot determined?

st of all, how is the pot deteremined in PLO?

If it is a 3 handed $1/$2 Game how come UTG can raises to $7?

Also, if UTG does raise to $7, then what can the next person re-raise to?

Also, if the pot is $10 on the flop and someone bets $10, what can the next person re-raise to?

Whatever the is in the pot, that is the pot.

1 blind + 2 blind =3. Before UTG can raise, he must first call the $2 blind. 3+2=5. The size of the pot is now 5. So he puts in 2 (call the blind) and 5 (the size of the pot) for a total of 7. 2+5=7.

1+2+7=10. Next person must call the 7, then raise. 10+7=17. 17 is the pot. 7 for the call + 17 for the pot-sized raise = 24 total.

10+10=20. Call the 10, then raise. 20+10=30. 30 is pot + 10 call = 40.

I know that, it just confuses me with the raises...I know if the pot is $50 I can bet $50.. I guess it is just the preflop stuff with the blinds that was confusing me. I thought thats how it went, but I wasnt 100% sure because for some reason I was thinking I was actually raising 7 dollars MORE rather than raising TO $7 which is only $5 more.. thanks for the help

One simple rule pre is to take the last bet (even if it's the bb) ; multiply it by 3 and add all previous bets.
Eg :
sb 1 bb 2 : 2*3 + 1 = 7
sb 1 bb 2 then 5 limpers : (2 * 3) + 2 * 5 + 1 = 17
sb 1 bb 2 raise 7 one caller : 3*7 + 7 + 2 + 1 = 31
