Just not funny.

The main plot (the bathroom monitoring) not funny in concept, not funny subtle or otherwise. THe waiter, not funny. The miscarriage, meh. The left handed apology, not funny. Colon contest, not funny. Leon was good but that was it.

This season is so bad makes last season look good. I have no idea why there is so much love for it on oot unless the ones that dont like it dont bother posting.

[/ QUOTE ]

If it's so bad and so horrible, why are you watching it?

Dont get me wrong, a bad CYE is still better than most other shows. Kinda like the last season and a half of Seinfeld. But the originality of the writing has def fallen off.

I guess the most noticeable leak I see is that in the past seasons, though the plots were still somewhat over the top, they didnt seem forced or contrived. A little last season and more so this one, it seems that Larry def curbed his enthusiasm.Pun intended.

I will still watch it, but I dont look forward to it as much as I did.

I really liked it.
Everything with Leon was awesome.
The Chemo bit was very good, it was obv it wasn't a skinhead, but I just expected it to be a random gay guy.

I thought tonight's episode was great. Might even be added as one of my favorites. The hearing problem w/ Cha Cha was great and most of the other bits were too. It was a bit predictable, the doggie bag, Leon coming along to the Dr, but I still loved it.

You nailed it xx44. Last week I decided not to watch any more new episodes. I'm finished with this show. From now on I'll only watch reruns from 2005 and before; with maybe an occasional 2006, but only if absolutely nothing else is on. If I read that LD's brought in outside writers I'll possibly give it another shot.

[You know it's all over when shows start bringin' in unfunny people who either live next door, or who now live in the residence.] Case in point:

Brady Bunch brought in Oliver

The Partridge Family brought in Ricky.

Good Times Brought in Janet Jackson

All In The Family brought in Danielle Brisebois

Curb Your Enthusiasm's new Oliver: Vivica Fox

Bye Bye Curb, sad to see you go.

I thought last season was great. Probably my favorite after 4 and 2.
