Default Older article analyzing Stop n Go\'s

Does anyone remember the author or have a copy of the article? It apears to be older than the retained issues.

Right, it's me. Until I get a real website, I've got all my old articles stored here for anyone who wants them.

Thanks for storing those articles, Tysen.

In light of the Mathematics of Poker, I think it's obvious in hindsight that 88 is a bad example hand; it is clearly +cEV to push that hand from the BB vs a loose button raise.

Strictly in terms of chip EV, I think that the value of the stop n go comes in allowing you go play hands which are not profitable to push over the top of a button raise, where the button is callling 100%. Stuff like K4o and Q5s and 86s.
