Default You need to show results before you get any respect.......

First time poster, long time lurker. I just wanted to share my picks and hopefully gain a following once i show some results. Thanks in advance for reading.

For saturday:
nevada -7 over utah st.
-----> nevada broke in a new quarterback last week and everything seemed to click on offense. utah st. 118th in nation in total offense.

wisconsin -23.5 over northern ill.
-----> coming off two devastating road losses to in-conference foes, the badgers get some home cooking in madison against an extremely overmatched huskies squad. they need the blowout and will get one here.

Under 41 fla. st -- miami
-----> game has gone under 4 straight years. is this play too obvious? probably. but if you've seen these two teams play then you will know that this is the correct side to be on.

Sunday:
no plays.

Again, thanks in advance for reading and i wish everyone the best of luck this weekend.

YTD 0-0

fidobuster.

good luck, fido...

normally i'd fade this kind of post, except the 'respect' line threw me for a loop, and now i dunno...you could end up being this season's version of winning hundreds of cows, or i could be missing an opportunity to win by fading..

hmmm...

If someone is actually a winning handicapper then he shouldn't need tout money.

Eh, it's not like he loses anything by going tout. Who can argue with making more money?

I could return my empty wine and beer bottles and that would be more money but it isn't worth it.

Same applies for touting. I use to get cold calls from all the tout services in the 90s. Based on what they were pitching the money just isn't worth the trouble for anyone who is actually good at it.

The closest I have ever come to selling picks was a straight trade of my football and hockey picks for someone else's baseball. I did that for 2 years. I don't even share picks with my friends.

If someone is willing to sell picks for $500-2000 a season then I wouldn't trust them since he obviously needs the money so probably isn't that well established.
