I apologize for my previous comment...sincerely. I hate the post-kickoff braggarts on here, and didn't mean to be. I just made a simple mistake.

See, I've always gotten Rutgers and Rice confused (which is idiotic, but I'm an idiot). So, when you said Rice Under, I thought you meant the points Rice scores (the college), not the yardage that he (the person) runs for. I was thinking the line would be about 23.5 (again, thinking points for the college), and when you typed 123.5, thought it was a typo, and I was just friendly jesting.

Instead, the lesson here is that

Idiot + Newcastle = Idiot.

Sorry, I did not mean to needle the bet at all.

Best of luck,

hd

USF -1.5 @ Rutgers bet 3.15u to win 3u

I lose again and am about ready to give up for the year

everything I looked at had USF -6 or more even with a big HFA for Rutgers

something is very wrong with the models that used to lead to $$$$ for me

Well I called a professional sports betting company for their one free pick of the week. They said bet more on the under since it was gonna be cold and rainy. Well the rain never showed up, and it wasnt that cold. I lost in that but won on the Rutgers +3 spread. Either way lost money tonight. Second time in a week on the over under.

On monday I was advised to take the over on the Falcons/Giants. I hate the over/under right now. Both recommendations came from a professional betting company. I think I'm better off just taking my chances on the spread as of now. This over/under [censored] is really screwing me over

Good thinking. I usually want more than a 2 game sample size before I start going against the advice of the professional betting companies, I mean come on, they're professionals!!!

Give up less than halfway through the year? Isn't the whole reason we use 100+ unit bankrolls is to absorb losing streaks? If you decide that you can't figure out this game then what hope do the rest of us have? I'm pretty discouraged by your pessimism. Seriously...hang in there.

Why would you ever bet the side you think will win? Sports betting is about getting the right odds, not betting who you think will win.

[/ QUOTE ]

in being only partly right you are totally wrong.
