Default Flopped Full House

8 Handed Live at the local bar. 1/2 NL 100 Max. Hero has villain covered by around $40. Villain is LAG, and probably on tilt considering he's gone through 2 buy-ins in the last hour or so. Probably more due to Straddling than bad play.

Hero has 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in UTG+1.
Villain is in BB.

Preflop: UTG folds, Hero bets $8, folded to Villain who calls. ($17)

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain checks, Hero checks.

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain checks, Hero checks.

River: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain bets $10. Hero...

Call because it's obvious you don't want to get money in the pot.

Why would you ever check this? For goodness sake, get some money in the pot. Bet that flop and if he has an A, stack him.

bro, if the game is super tight, you shouldn't worry about posting hands like this one. your bread and butter will come from opening your range and abusing position. post questions about these...

The idea of the game is to win money.

to be doing this you need to bet when you have good hands. Otherwise, the opponent doesn't have the chance to put money in the pot.
