Position is merely one of the things which can affect the value of a hand.

[/ QUOTE ] But would you agree that it is THE most important thing which can affect the value of a hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

No. All else being equal, I would usually rather have AAQJ out of position than AKQJ in position. I would usually rather have 6789ds out of position than 6789r in position. I would usually rather have 89TJs out of position than 89T2s in position. I would usually rather have KKTT out of position than KK72 in position. And I base this on more than just intuition.

A bump for an immortally useless thread.

if you can't play out of position profitably... don't.

I bet some people in this thread probably overplay position.

1. You do not help people by telling them that because they can't play out of position to not play out position; you should consider helping people to become better at playing out of position
2. If you find this useless, well, some people don't.
3. See, what is going to make this more useless is to have people positing unnecessary posts like you, grizy, and having others to reply unnecessarily!

[/ QUOTE ] By how much do you think this lowers those people's profits?

Oh ffs can we let this thread drop to page 2 already?
It was comical in the beginning but it`s starting to get plain annoying.

In comparison to overall or to how well they play out of position?
