Sick Sick prop bet involving an infant!!!!

So I call my buddy back to let him know that I am still in Poway CA and haven't had to evacuate my house. He proceeds to ramble on and on (like all parents do) about how awesome his 8 month old kid is and that his kid is going to walk by the time he is 11 months.
Eventually I get annoyed and start telling him there is no way your kid is going to walk in 11 months. We go back and forth and ultimately decide to place a bet on whether or not the kid will walk by November 26...lol

Variance: Imagining my friend doing everything possible to try and force his kid to walk in one month

did you set conditions? seems like he could screw you over pretty bad unless specifics terms were set. i.e. does walking while in a walker count? does walking while holding onto something count?

Plenty of babies walk before 11 months. It's early, but it's not unusual. My sister-in-law walked at either 8 or 9 months (my wife is asleep, so I can't confirm the exact age).

I would say, though, that you are still probably the favorite in this bet.

EDIT: FWIW (not much, I know), my daughter will turn 1 year old on Saturday and she has just hit the beginning stages of walking. Not a true walk yet, but she is sometimes able to stand by herself for < 1 min and take a couple shuffles forward. So, you would have won the bet against me.
