Are you the Author of the book "Strategies for Online Sit ’n Go’s; Expert Advice for Beating One-Table Poker Tournaments with Three Places Paid"

If so I urge you to create a thread in the 1-table tornament or the books/publications forums.

Hi RedGladiator,
Yes, that is me, and you are entirely right. Please take a look at Mason's thread in the Books/Publications thread where I have just replied. When I return from overseas in a few days, I intend to become much more active in the STT forum, and hopefully here as well.

I really hate your pf call.

My biggest leak in the sb is (or, after having a few too many hands like this, WAS) calling with crud, then hitting enough to lose a high % of my stack.

So, something suited, and connected in some way is nice.

With 10 3 you have hit about the best possible hand you could have. You are in a difficult decision, and one which is only made worse by calling, and having the middle card pair on the board to counterfeit you.

And all this [censored] was caused by seeing a 'cheap' half price flop.

Which leads to very awkward situations down the track for significant sums of $
