Default How to check-mate the DoJ in one move

I just came up with such an incredibly stupid plan that would without a doubt work. Please hear me out and hopefully many will take note.

What we need to do is set up our online poker funding mechanism right here in the U.S. That's right- we need an ewallet right here.

Online poker is not illegal under any U.S. federal law.

Would the DoJ arrest somebody? I sure hope so. We can finally have our day in court and most believe we would win.

I hope the online poker sites consider this.

Did you start drinking heavily after you read the FTP happy email thread or something?

Umm no...

But funding one is, which is what you would be doing.

I figure a little more harrassment will put him further off kilter, thereby increasing the entertainment value

This is not true.

The UIGA only covers illegal gambling. Online poker is not illegal.

I thought you were referring to all poker sites such as WSEX.

Nevertheless, it is already illegal in two states.

If you service anyone from those states, it would be illegal.

And even if you had procedures in place to not service certain areas, it would be just like the sneaky bastids to get someone through your service from an illegal area, then use that as a main point against you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasnt any form of wagering online always been illegal? It's just that the UIGEA didnt make anything that was legal before illegal now, right? So technically the UIGEA didnt make online poker illegal again because it is already illegal?

No, it is not illegal.

There is a gray area regarding placing wagers over phone lines, but nothing has been set in stone yet regarding playing poker over the internet, on a federal level.
