Fold preflop IMO or 3 bet.

[/ QUOTE ]We think very much alike.

I also dislike postflop and def. agree with everything SABR said.

I almost always fold preflop, not sure why I called this time. Just felt like playing I guess.

Everyone seems to agree with SABR, so this feels like one of those aweful "everything you know is wrong" kind of moments.

The only reason to ever raise is to make a worse hand call or a better hand to fold. Your raise on the flop does neither. Like SABR said a "worse hand" or monster draw A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is just going to 3bet.

And the preflop call is fine since you have the button, a SC, and it is less than 5% of effective stacks. You don't want people thinking a cold call from you means pocket pair looking to set-mine only.

Anybody else check the turn?

A check might be good because you picked up a bunch of outs on the turn if you are behind and you might induce a bluff/value bet when/if you hit. Plus A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] aren't outs for your opponent.

Yes, as played getting check/raised AI on turn is a disaster since we won't have odds to call.

Agree with others that this doesn't seem much like a draw.
I think this is a really bad spot to call
