Travel to Panama

Someone being there or live there, I need more info about this country, is it safe? is it expensive compare to the U.S, what's must see/do/eat/go? How to have a good time? and so on...

Its sickly cheap. $1.40 for taxi across town. They have tourist police everywhere in Panama city carrying nice looking machine guns. I have walked several times in the middle of the night from poker room to hotel carrying thousands in my pocket and had no problem. great poker played at venneto casino. If you don't mind playing with rich chinese mafi and columbion drug lords sometimes. the city is clean and modern with plenty of sightseeing. Anything else you would like to know?
