Default 200NL - TP minraised by fish 50BB deep

Villain is very fishy: 50/2/1

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed)

BB ($57.95)
Hero ($347.10)
MP ($296.50)
CO ($85.25)
Button ($95.20)
SB ($198.00)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $7, 2 folds, Button calls $7, 1 fold, BB calls $5.

Flop: ($22) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $15, Button raises to $30, BB folds, Hero...

We have two conflicting concepts:

1. Fold against raising passives
2. TP is the nuts for 50BB

Which one's more important?

But what do we beat, really, given his passivity?

Seems to me that all you're beating here is a/x of clubs, and you're hardly ahead of that. If he is a fish he could just be betting on a straight club draw though, which you're slightly more ahead of.

He's really not that passive, he's retarded and it's only for 50bb. That combination means the push is very easy

when you play 50% of hands preflop AF 1 isn't all that passive post.

An AF of 1 when you play that many hands isn't that passive.

And it's only 50BB's. Therefore the only correct play here is to shove.

Whether AF=1 is passive for this villain is a difficult subject. Here, for instance, his AF is almost equal to

Bet%/Call% ~= 20/20 = 1

which is very passive indeed.
