Low Limit Mixed @ Wynn Weds 8/1?

I'll be in town a day early for a bachelor party, anyone want to get a 4/8 mixed game going Wednesday night?

I'll be at the Wynn from 1pm on.

Wednesday night? If you discover that you are having issues getting the game going, you might consider trying to get it going at TI instead.

TI spreads 3/6 Mixed semi regularly, when there is interest (every weekend, especially late at night, and weekday nights when the usual suspects are in). So long as a couple mixed game regulars are there (they usually are), they will get cards in the air 4 handed, at least.

Wynn may be open to this as well, but TI has a fairly good track record with getting it going lately due to some regulars gaining interest (myself included).

Often, we play $5 a point Chinese if we are 4 handed, but that is up to the table.

Yeah, you keep promising a mix game at TI but when I finally broke down and headed there Saturday evening for the first time ever I found myself 4th on the list, and it grew to 6 names but they still never tried to start it, and it had shrunk back to 4 names by the time I gave up at midnight. False advertising!

We played 3 and 4 handed mixed games tonight at Wynn, the house was very happy to spread it for us. Any limit.

Michael - if the guys your playing with in a mixed game format won't play 4 handed (except for Chinese) then you need to play with people who aren't such huge nits or sit in a better game. For example Triple Draw is a 6 handed game, but it plays 10x better 4 handed. Badugi also plays fantastic four handed. S8b, stud, and Razz are all fantastic 4 handed if the bring in/ante ration is favorable (like a 2 ante/5 bring in playing 10/20) because the pots are so large nobody can fold on 3rd street. Since your playing 3/6 the size of the pot practically forces you to play any 3 cards in the ante games, you guys should be playing shorthanded!

TT: Thanks for the info on Wynn. Also, I fully agree with you. My post was written badly, and I should have explained it better. We are commonly 3-4 handed (especially very late at night or early in the morning) and TI has no problem with it.

I just got back from another all nighter mixed at TI.

Bav: We should exchange numbers or something, as the mixed went Saturday night, but not until about 11PM or so). Not sure why they didn't start it when you were there (possibly because the vocal local regulars like myself and Dave were not there yet). Could have been that some regulars called in, but they didn't list them as call ins on the board.

Our regulars are perfectly happy playing 3-4 handed, and TI will spread it. However, usually, it is 4-5 handed or more, depending on when we get it going.

Tonight/this morning we were 3 handed for the last coupld hours. Our mix was Razz, Double Flop Omaha High, Crazy Pineapple, Badugi, Royal Hold'em (don't ask), Chinese, and an occasional round of Blind Man's Bluff Royal Hold'em.

I agree that short handed stud is a HELL of a game. Something I was honestly unaware of until playing it first hand, live.

What is the ante & bring in for a 3/6 game? I assume 1 and 1, anything bigger is so huge compared to the blind sizes.
