25NL I\'ve found the most passive way to play JJ!
MP is a TAG 17/15 or 19/14 or whatever.
UTG is a donk 54/20/3.1. Bet flop/turn/river % 42/56/50 Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (SB): $27.65 BB: $38.15 UTG: $48.60 MP: $23.60 CO: $23.10 BTN: $38.65 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG calls $0.25, MP raises to $1.10, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.00, BB folds, UTG calls $0.85 Flop: ($3.55) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $1.00, MP folds, Hero calls $1.00 Turn: ($5.55) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG checks River: ($5.55) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $1.00, Hero calls $1.00 Alright, I am probably going to get some flack for not 3betting pf, but I don't like playing JJ OOP postflop vs a TAG, and I certainly wouldn't like doing it in a 3bet pot. So I called pf, and I check, planning to call a cbet, but instead UTG donks out and MP folds. I think MP could have a wide range here, but I am WA/WB so I call. Turn, I check planning to call another bet (UTG is aggro Postflop), but he checks behind. River, I am probably still good but UTG is very aggressive on the river, so I elect to check/call again. He bets really small on the river, so I guess my plan didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, but I instantly call and expect to win. Who takes a more aggressive line and why? |

Re: 25NL I\'ve found the most passive way to play JJ!
I don't have too much of a problem calling preflop. However, I think I would raise the flop. Make it 4. A LAG villain like this would be betting with almost anything and a raise lets us see where we stand.
