Default CPU 1,6 GHz / 533 MHz FSB / 1 MB cashe for poker laptop ok?

Hi!
Please help me with this!

I wanted to buy this laptob

- Display 15,4" WSXGA+ 1680x1050 Glare Type (Crystal Cleare Display)
- Prozessor IntelŪ Core 2 Duo T5500 2x 1.66 GHz 2MB Cache
- Grafikkarte nVIDIA GeForce go 7600 256MB
- Arbeitsspeicher 1024MB DDR2 667MHz (1x1024MB)
- Festplatte 120GB 2,5" SATA 5400rpm 8MB Cache

for 1600$ when I found this discounter

IntelŪ PentiumŪ Dualcore-Prozessor T2060
mit 1,6 GHz / 533 MHz FSB / 1 MB Cache
15,4" WSXGA+ 1680x1050
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 - 256 MB
120 GB Western Digital harddisc
1x1.024 MB DDR2 RAM

900$

that is 700$ less and the only difference I can see is that the processor has only 1MB cache. Can anybody tell me please how much difference it will make? I am not gaming much but I want to multitable with pokertracker importing simultanuously smoothly. With my current laptop I sometimes have to wait 4 sec during the import of the new hands which sometimes makes me sit out on a table With dual core this should not happen right? Will I feel a difference between those two processors when playing poker?

You didn't list the speed of the hard drive on system #2. 5400rpm is probably sufficient, but you don't want 4200rpm -that will slow down Poker tracker. If you have the option to upgrade to 7200 you will be able to be just a bit faster. I can't really speak for the processors so I'll let someone else handle that. However, I think the hard drive shouldn't be overlooked with your concerns.

As long as you can resize the tables you'll be fine. However with the widescreen format this means you'll have unused screen space on either side. Some people can't stand this, others don't care *shrug*

The T2060 is the Core Duo, I didnt know they were branding them as Pentiums now. It is a good chip, the Core2 Duo is much better and is 64bit compatible. Not $700 better, but it is a better chip.

More likely the retailer is just mislabeling stuff.
