Well, it is quite simple. Suited connectors > AK to a lot of people online, as well as live I would presume, and in times like this they are right. If you notice, most big hands are beaten by what seem like POS hands, but I guarantee you that 3d4d beats AA way more than QQ ever will, but that should be obvious.
