How ya'll like that?

It's a great song, but flav just goes off.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL! I never understood the pairing of Flav and Chuck D. Chuck was one of the most serious rappers out there. The S1Ws are just standing there in the back looking intimidating. Then you have Flav acting like a clown. I understand the point of having some comic relief, but he was going WAY overboard there.

If you skipped the Simon and Garfunkel link, do yourself a favor and give it a chance. I was never into S&G, but these guys hit this one on the screws.

I remember a very old episode hosted by Rodney Dangerfield, with the J Giels Band as musical guest, and I remember Peter Wolfe and the boys kicking some serious tail.

Beastie Boys doing Three MCs and One DJ leading into Intergalactic (as impressive as this was, though, they did the same setup on MTV awards that year even better)

Also, Vanilla Ice doing Ice Ice Baby, obv

[/ QUOTE ]

The Beastie Boys did 3MCs on SNL, but it didn't lead into Intergalactic, it stood alone. They did Sabotage later that same show. Trust me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep. As you know, you are correct. I'm an enormous BBoys fan, and feel embarrassed for having gotten this wrong. Where else did they do the same 3MC->IG setup they did on the MTV awards? I remember seeing it somewhere else that year and thinking it was good, but not as good as MTV....just made sense to me it was their SNL appearance. (wasn't that the SNL where AdRock was JLH's baby's daddy in a late skit?)
