You know that there is live poker in casinos in the St Louis area, right? Go get your fake id, take a couple hundred bucks and get started on your live game career. No need to wait to move to Vegas, and, since you're living at home, I'm guessing that you have almost no living expenses to cover right now while starting up.

There are St Louis residents who hang around in the B+M forum. I'm sure they'd be willing to give you some pointers on where to play and could offer us all an objective assessment of your live skills after a session or two.
