Default Quick Agression Factor Question (pokertracker related)

I could not find this anywhere else sorry, just a quick
question.. how is the aggression factors calculated? Specifically i have 4.8 AF preflop, but i want to make it less, like say get it down to 2.5. Do i do this by just calling raises more? 3betting less? What specifically makes me a 4.8 AF?

Also for postflop, is the agression factor in pokertracker calculated the same way as preflop? Specifically, if i want to lower my postflop agression, should i be calling more, checking more, checkraising less? which stats affect it?

thank you in advance

I think it's (bets+raises)/calls. It's calculated the same way both pre and post.

Yeah, basically. Call more bets if you want to be less aggressive.. but I dunno why you'd wanna be.

I dropped down to 200nl to experiment with different styles, it's fun to beat around regulars and see what kind of style works best.
