(LC) Observed WSOP Razz hand: Quads 8s on board.
This hand actually happened at my table, and probably made wsop history.
Lots of folds, Richard Brodie raises with an 8, someone calls with a 2. Brodie pairs the 8 on fourth, opponent bets before even seeing his own card, which is another 2. Brodie calls. Brodie catches a third 8 on 5th, again his opponent bets before seeing his own card; this time a K. So, with (xx)888 facing a bet from (xx) 22K, Brodie calls. Fourth 8 on sixth, 22K catches a T, a mini-crowd gathers, Brodie pauses for a second to contemplate the situation before folding. |

Brodie probably played this one right. He's probably around even money on fifth, possibly a little better, especially considering that the other guy failed to raise third street. On sixth he's drawing dead approximately 100% of the time.
I've made a few full houses playing razz (haven't we all?), but never quads. Open quads is probably something most of us will never see. |

What does the purple dot mean? Also, what purple dot?
You do realize that I ban people for screen-shots using four-color decks, right? |
