i see those everywhere and it certainly pisses me off. i've seen ppl do it with everything from the nuts to complete air. lately i've been seeing it quite often with nothing but Ace high...

at NL5 i always 3bet them
at NL10 i did it from time to time
now at NL25 i dunno what to do, i sometimes 3bet them
then they call and i am lost again [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

IMO, usually a strong but vulnerable hand in the SB or BB after hero PFRs. Like, villain holds 99 and flop comes

872 with 2 to a flush.

It's rarely ever done with air unless villain is a donk but sees you PFR'ing and c-betting a lot. Most villains aren't this smart though.
