Can someone recap that doyle/guy hand, including barry's action?

[/ QUOTE ]

Barry folded preflop after Doyle raised 10k to 11.2k. I think there were 4 callers and pot was ~57k. Flop is AJ4 Doyle led out 40k and Guy called. Turn was 2d I think giving Doyle the nut flush draw and Guy a gutter. Guy checked turn and Doyle bet 110k and Guy checkriased to 310k . Doyle moved in for 30.5k more and I think final pot was 808 or 818k.

[/ QUOTE ]

What did BArry fold or is it not shown in program?

[/ QUOTE ]

OMG do people read one post before they ask?

Sammy and Patrik don't get it all in here unless they can do business. notice the "one time" guys like barry and antonio aren't involved as much as the other 6. You're really just advocating a tighter, less exciting game, and the pot between Sammy and Patrik was great poker TV. It's their money not the show's money, watch tournaments instead.

i can't stop lol'ing at PA when he finally tells sammy his hand.

"I have a pair, I have top pair" he says with a hilarious smile because he knows how ridiculous "top pair" sounds at this point.

First -

How good would it have been if they couldn't run it twice.

If Farha hit his flush and then Patrick river the boat for 1m, casual viewers at home would freak and would right now be telling their friends about it at work.

Instead they prob don't even know what happened.

QFMFT - Seeing these guys playing at a level where they're properly rolled would be so much better than running it 15 times every hand. Next it'll be dividing it up based on equity. This would be fine if it wasn't on TV - it does make for lousy TV and I wouldn't be surprised if the show caught on to this.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been more discussion of the PA SF hand. Pushing 500k over a 100k raise (can't remember exact numbers) with TPWK - how sick is that? Surely PA has to be crushed by even Farhas range for calling. I mean, the best PA can hope for is that Farha has exactly the kind of hand he has right? And even then he's a slight dog. I don't get it.

Best funny scene was from Farha when he was AI with PA:

SF: "FINE - What do you have?"
SF: "You have a purr at least?" PA: "I have a pair, i have a top pair" *grins*
SF: "MONSTERROFL TOP PURR! *golfclaps* Bring us one more Patrik here!"
DOYLE: "C'mon turn your hand over!"
SF: "I got Aces Doyle, what do you know?!"

Good lord, this show is intolerable without Tivo. One hand between commercial breaks....

I start watching at 9:30 on DVR. I usually get done watching about the time the show ends.

Farha coudl've had the flush draw without the overs, which I guess would've made the push the only move that would price him out.

how can farha insta call Pa's all in with the flush draw when his overcards are probably not live. Ok on this occasion they were but generally PA's gonna have aces, kings, queens or a set when he moves all in. Move all in with that KQs there but don't call all in. Farha was in fact favourite but only marginally and profit should come from the fold equity from moveing all in not from a 53/47 coinflip, so he got what he deserved imo when patrick sucked out.
