Default AK out of the SB

I put the MP open raiser on a small-mid pair. Button was fairly loose. Too passive? I don't like gambling early.

I think it's a fine fold given the action. Three to a flush on the flop and you missed completely.

I think you should shove pre to negate the position factor. Fine as played

There is no MP "open raiser" here...UTG limped. That makes a sig difference is MP2's range, IMO. I guess u can play AK like this if u don't want to "gamble early"...but u should realize that u passed up an EV+ opportunity here by not shoving pre if your read was a PP for MP2. Do u see why it's EV+ to race here?

I shove preflop. Pot already being >20% of my stack is a key factor. Also, calling, whilst still +EV, invites a 4-5 handed pot where your OOP with a hand which is only really looking to flop TPTK so isn't great.
