How do you play this turn?
Getting sucked out on a lot with donks chasing and hitting flush draws all day...
Villain is 46/20/1 I am running 21/18/3 -- but I doubt villain knows that. Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $41.44 BB: $23.46 Hero (UTG): $25.00 MP: $27.53 CO: $15.68 BTN: $21.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) Hero raises to $1.00, MP calls $1.00, CO folds, BTN calls $1.00, 2 folds Flop: ($3.35) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero bets $2.50, MP folds, BTN calls $2.50 Turn: ($8.35) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero ? I put him on a weak Ace or flush draw here -- I have seen him re-raise on the flop with anything stronger. If we check and villain bets do we shove? If we bet and villain raises do we shove? If it goes check-check do we value bet the river? Can we stand a river raise if a non-spade hits -- or is it always a flush here? thanks |

Re: How do you play this turn?
I'm curious what others think about this hand. I typically bet $7-$8 on turn and probably fold to a shove against this guy since his AF is 1.

Re: How do you play this turn?
Bet 8 on turn, fold to a raise. Bet any river 2/3 pot if turn is called, fold to a raise unless u fill up.

Re: How do you play this turn?
Bet turn, fold to a big raise, call minraise. If u bet and he checks you can either go c/c on the river or squeeze some more value out of it. I don't think he'll rr u if he has the flush...not with 1 AF at least. But then again I don't use pahud

Re: How do you play this turn?
If we bet $8, and villain shoves his remaining $18, we have to call $10 in a $34.35 pot.
Even if we KNOW he has a flush, we get the correct odds to call, as we are 1-3.45 to fill up. I don't ever see him raise here with less than a flush. But if we bet a little lower like $6, what are the chances he would come over the top with two pair, or an Ace with a spade kicker? And even then, his kicker could be lower than your 8. This is very read dependent. |
