the one with Chris Rock where he says we can save 10 million pounds of grain by consuming 10 % less meat? that's one of the hugest and most ignorant misconceptions in the world economy. how can people possibly believe that [censored]?

even if we did save 10 million grains... they would be feed grains... NOT consumable by humans.

let's go one step further and say we make them into grain consumable by humans... the cost of shipping and distributing the grain would be astronomical... producing 10 million grains at such a high premium for transportation would bankrupt a lot of farmers

not to mention when grain is distributed in these areas... warlords snatch it up and resell it most of the time

also, a 10 % reduction in meat consumption would have a catastrophic effect on the cattle industry
