Variance spanked me before I got to Platinum, gave it up 900 VPP short of Platinum and 12k FPP short of the iPod, down $1000 to 5/10 and 10/20 donkeys chasing gutshots and hitting them...

I got my 80 gig iPod on my birthday, but I had had a lot of points sitting around.

after the promotion, every time i look at my FPPs it feels fruitless because they increase so slowly now.

it's like getting off the high way when you were doing 80, and right into a 35 zone.

I may do this, even though I realized I had to blow the 15k points on a camera for my sister's birthday. Is it worth reloading to do this at 2/4 or 3/6? I'm guessing it may be worthwhile just to knock off the 996 VPP I need to get to Platinum...

at 100NL full, you get somewhere around .45 per hand. So about 15-16k hands there. dunno about 200nl.
