Make sure the Party client shows as small a table list as possible (for instance, registering 7s $530 SNG's) when you can, it'll help alleviate the lag.

I am running an Athlon 3000+ and party can hog 40% of the CPU(playing 10 tables).
It is ridiculous, a poker program should be able to run on a 10 year old computer.

I don't know what the software does but I guess it is monitoring processes and my system(to check other programs).

The worst software in the industry when it comes to this.
