There's really no justified reason for the hatred towards EM from what I have seen. I hear alot of reference to otis, but I wasn't around then, and besides, a poster should be judged for how they are posting within the last 2 months, not how they posted years ago.
Here's what happened with EM. A couple well known posters expressed, for whatever reason, a dislike for her. Then, all the OOT hanger-ons joined in with the dislike, due to the group think that exists throughout the twoplustwo community. I don't think I'm going to miss OOT, and I wouldn't go back if my exile was lifted. Keep your secret clubhouse.

Give me a hypothetical law suit that would be filed against 2p2. Mind you that something like OOT exists on almost every forum everywhere, and very few people get sued. I think this risk is way overstated, although in some sense I agree with you about the future of OOT. Also lol @ continuing to mention the financial aspect of moderation, since very few forums pay their mods. This should be a non starter. Guys- for all of you freaking out about Elaine being offered a modship, keep in mind that Dynasty was and still is a mod.

so in one post you say you dont get why you were banned. in the next post you both berate the forum you were banned from, repeat, and then talk about how you would have had to hide your identity as a mod because you were so disliked. doesnt it seem like a lot of things are coming together in regards to why you were exiled?
lol@your suggestion that oot means nothing to them. i imagine the vast majority of traffic runs through there at some point and asstons of adspace are sold because of this fact. i mean, the way the board is maintained it doesnt seem like the owners care, although they must make an asston of money, strange correlation. giant positive investment and not caring... rj

While I don't always agree with what she says, I like Elaine. Both as a poster and as a person. You've all ganged up on her because 1) she expresses strong opinions, and 2) she is Ed's wife. If her name was something like, oh, I don't know - Sponger - you'd all be up in arms over her exile.
