Default $50NL: 2nd pair + nut flush draw when I know villain flopped an ace

Villain is a 50/0 player. After limp-calling and then donking into me on the flop, he has an ace probably 99% of the time. Since I probably had no fold equity was my line(call, call, check river) the only good option?

You're exactly even money against an Ace. You'd have to have 0 fold equity to make shoving unprofitable. Shove flop.

You can raise the flop and try to get a free card on the turn or shove as you will be around even money.

You are the preflop raiser so he might put you on AK or better and fold some of the time, won't he?

Given stack size, just shove.

He was a 50/0 player. He will just look at his ace and felt it. I guess my overall question was flip a coin on the flop or try to keep the pot smaller? Against any decent/thinking player I would raise the flop and represent a strong ace. This was not an option here.

Then why did you post this hand? You obv had correct odds to call with your 14 outer on the flop and your 15 outer on the turn.

In that case, since he seems too passive and too loose, I would min-raise the flop and take my free card on the turn if I need it.

My thinking is this guy is loose enough to pay me off when I hit, so I don't need to shove...I can value bet when/if I hit.

14 outs gives you a 29% to hit on the NEXT CARD.
10.50:5.25 or 2:1 potodds

If he is the typ of player that will call of his stack if a spade falles ok, but you have to be pretty sure that he does.

I prefer calling on the flop to raising.

Shoving is +EV for sure, but calling is likely higher EV against bad players.

it depends on player and hand, at least in my experince. And even poor players will see the flush and not pay you of the amount you realy need for it to be +EV to call.
